But fine bowling by Chandran and Bell saw Hyderabad strugglefor runs. Wickets fell at regular intervals and the fact that thehighest partnership was just 26 runs (for the fifth and seventhwickets) tells the story of the ball’s dominance. Sanjay Patel andKhaja Obaidulla top scored with 26 apiece. While Chandran took fivewickets for 38, Bell finished with five for 51. In the second innings,Kerala were 52 for two when the match ended. Kerala got five pointsand Hyderabad three.
