It was a frustrating afternoon for Newcastle in north London as goals from Destiny Udogie, Richarlison and Son Heung-min condemned them to a second heavy defeat in three days. The Magpies lost 3-0 to Everton on Thursday, and after that match, Wilson was unhappy with the celebrations of Toffees 'keeper Jordan Pickford.

WHAT WILSON SAID

Speaking to Sky Sports after the Spurs match, Wilson said: "There's a way to win isn't there? I think we've seen it in the week when Everton were winning and Pickford was messing around.

"The goalkeeper [Vicario], for the header he starts pulling faces and messing around, it was a lack of respect I thought. But I said my piece, we're grown men and we move on."
